There’s still some availability on Friday’s workshop in Chelsea and Knightsbridge. This is always a fun and challenging day – it’s where ‘Made in Chelsea’ meets ‘Harrodsburg’!
Knightsbridge, the King’s Road, Fulham Road, Harrods, Sloane Square . . . it’s all very ‘Made in Chelsea’ and the area provides a fascinating canvas for street photographers. I will coach you in some of the key principles of street photography whilst shooting the rich, the poor, the glamorous, the eccentric, the ostentatious and the mundane in this character-rich corner of London; you will learn how to produce witty, individual and evocative images which reflect life on the street in one of our wealthiest neighbourhoods. We might even try a little Dougie Wallace style shooting in the manner of his ‘Harrodsburg’ project.
My street photography workshops are NOT about taking pictures of random people in random streets doing nothing in particular; this workshop will focus on three key styles of shooting:
- Visual storytelling: developing a strong narrative in your work
- Using everyday ‘street life’ to create beauty from the mundane
- The abstract / fine art approach to street photography
Places are limited to 6 and you can book HERE.
