1/ Preparatory work
Once you have signed-up for the programme, we’ll send you a questionnaire, the responses to which will help inform the content of our discussion. We with then arrange an ‘online meeting’ at a time which suits us both – usually within 7 days. You will also need to send us 6 images which reflect ‘where you are now’. This preparatory stage will give you the opportunity to really think about your own work, whilst giving us plenty of material to explore in our discussion.
2/ The online meeting
Our session will last for around 1 hour, scheduled at a time to suit us both Our meeting will be conducted using Zoom (don’t worry if you haven’t used it before – it’s very easy and we’ll send you instructions). During our meeting we will cover areas such as:
- A critique of your images, with frank and constructive feedback
- Explore your aspirations as a street photographer
- Discuss the things which hold you back (perceived and actual)
- Explore any current or proposed projects
- We will finish the meeting with a Q&A session covering any questions you may have
3/ Your action plan
During the week following our call, we will prepare notes which form a summary of our discussion, which will include a developmental action plan for you to put into practice. We may recommend any combination of exercises, assignments, reading suggestions, research or project work.
