April is a quiet month for exhibitions in the UK but there are a couple of shows worthy of a visit.

If, like me, you’re interested in that space where street meets documentary, a trip to Manchester is a must for Tish Murtha’s exhibition at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel (now until 30th June – free entry).

Back to London and Tate Britain has a great exhibition of works of a similar hue, featuring images by Chris Killip, Shirley Baker and more. It’s free to enter and runs until 30th October.
