Some great street photography!

One of the perks of my job is the satisfaction of watching my workshop students develop and grow as photographers. From those taking their first ‘baby’ steps in street photography to those who have been at it for years, I see a wide range of experience on my workshops. Everyone who has attended a workshop is invited to join the StreetSnappers Collective, a wonderfully warm and supportive group of street photographers who collaborate on projects, make books, hold exhibitions and organise meet-ups around the country - and the world. I’m proud to call them all my friends.

Every year I produce a short video which summarises my students’ best work over the previous 12 months. You can watch the latest video here. Please do take a few minutes to watch this as I think it shows what’s possible (I can think of a number of people featured here who, 12 months ago, would never have imagined they could be good street photographers).

If you’ve not yet attended one of my workshops, maybe 2024 is the year to get involved! You’ll find what’s on offer here.

I think these folks have produced a terrific collective body of work and I take my hat off to them. Bravo!
