Street Photography and Politics - the General Election Workshop, 5 July! (FULLY BOOKED)
This happens only once every five years: a street photography on ‘results day’ following the general Election.
It’s a street photography workshop with a political twist - and with a added element of documentary photography. We’ll spend most of time in and around Westminster, amongst the politicians, the protestors, the celebrators and the media scrum. You’ll feel very much part of the ‘Westminster bubble’ and will be coached in a range of street and documentary photography techniques.
This is a rare opportunity to experience this type of workshop in the febrile and highly charged atmosphere of Westminster on the day the election results are announced. Previous participants on this workshop have produced great zines or books based on the images shot during the day.
The workshop starts with a briefing in the West End at 0930 and finished around 1730.
