A bleak monochromatic landscape
Last Sunday’s workshop in Shoreditch took place on a bleak, grey and misty Sunday morning. As there were not many people around - and not much activity on the streets - we turned our attention to shooting some urban landscapes.

Don’t miss! - Chris Killip Exhibition
Chris Killip’s full-career retrospective is currently on view at London’s Photographers’ Gallery (close to Oxford Circus) and you can see it until 19th February. If you can’t make this but live in the North East you’re in luck - the exhibition tours to the Baltic Centre of Contemporary Art in 2023.

Why I took this photo
This has nothing to do with what I think about our boys and girls in the police force - I think they do a grand job. But I can’t resist making a good connection and, when I see a work like ‘lice’, I’m starting to look around for a connection of juxtaposition.
